What is the IB Parent Alliance?

The purpose of the Southeast High School IB Parent Alliance is to be a responsible and relevant partner with the Southeast High School community.

By providing a vehicle for the sharing of information, encouragement and support, we strive to promote the success of the students in the IB program at Southeast High School and build a strong sense of community among IB students, parents, teachers and administrators.

As parents, step-parents or guardians of a SEHS IB student we all are members of the SEHS IB Parent Alliance. The SEHS IB parent Alliance was formed so that parents could get involved with SEHS and the IB program. Parents have a role to play, in partnership with the IB administration, staff and faculty, in ensuring the best environment possible for the education and development of SEHS IB students. Through the Parent Alliance, parents can:

• Be a resource for SEHS administration, faculty and staff.
• More effectively contribute their time and talents as volunteers.
• Help build school spirit and a sense of school community.
• Foster parent-to-parent communication and support.
• Help promote and market the school.
