Southeast High School would like to immerse its IB students into a world of sustainability for the required IB Collaborative Science Project.

Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida is renowned for environmental sustainability in practice and through education and will provide an ideal backdrop and info gathering session towards this year’s project. The collaborative project brings together Biology, Chemistry, Design, Environmental Science, and Physics students in the IB program to consider solutions to real world topics.

The Epcot experience will be followed by an intensive two-day problem-solving workshop for the students at the high school.

The goal of the Group 4 Project is to provide an opportunity for students to explore solutions for real environmental problems of a common theme in different areas of the world, and as a group, share in their learning experiences and ideas.
