Group 4 Project
Southeast High School would like to immerse its IB students into a world of sustainability for the required IB Collaborative Science Project.
Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida is renowned for environmental sustainability in practice and through education and would provide an ideal backdrop and info gathering session towards this year’s project. The collaborative project brings together Biology, Chemistry, Design, Environmental Science, and Physics students in the IB program to consider solutions to real world topics.
The Epcot experience would be followed by an intensive two-day problem-solving workshop for the students at the high school. Expected costs are between 200-250 dollars per student, for 99 students.
The goal of this fundraising campaign would be to provide an opportunity for students to explore solutions for real environmental problems of a common theme in different areas of the world, and as a group, share in their learning experiences and ideas.
